I've been using Texter for a while, but it's not as featured as I would like. Then I tried Phraseexpress, but that has so many features I've still not figured it out. So the question is whether I should keep working on figuring out phraseexpress or look for something better.

I'm a big fan of a software program called EventGhost, its allowed me to control pretty much every part of my computer network and had I the money to buy interface devices (like X10 etc...) then I could also use it to control pretty much every part of my house.

However there is a downside to using this software. I appear to be part of a very small community of people doing so. I wonder if this is because its a very niche market and there simply are not many people using ANY automation software for a large enough community to grow, or it could be that whilst EventGhost seems brilliant to me. There may be better software out there with a bigger development community.

If the latter is the case, I'd love to hear about it... what automation software do you use if any?

If your not currently using it but would like to then let me know and if I get enough interest i'll see if I can put together an article on how to get started with EventGhost.
