Simply visit <a href="http://en.gravatar.com/">http://en.gravatar.com/</a> and click on 'Get your Gravatar today' and follow the instructions. If you don't know what avatar to get and you don't like the presets on gravatars site (if they still have them of course) then you can find a whole host of free to use avatars at <a href="http://www.avatarsdb.com/">http://www.avatarsdb.com/</a>, of course you can search for free avatars on google but be warned, there are a lot of spam sites under this search. Just on the off chance you don't even know what an avatar is (or are wondering why I am making an obscure James Cameron reference) then an Avatar is the little profile picture you can see on peoples posts on this and other forums. They can help to identify you more easily to other members of the forum and can really help you to mesh with the community.
