I'm in Illinois, in between Springfield and St. Louis. Where I live, most cell phones are shotty with the exception of AT&amp;T (however I would like to avoid signing a contract.) I won't be using the card much around the house much, though. Where I would be using it I'm pretty sure almost anything works well. I've been looking into Cricket because it seems to be the cheapest (if not only) unlimited data access plan and it comes without a contract. I'm assuming this means if I get tired of it or it just doesn't work well for me that means I can cancel it. Does anyone use a Cricket data card or any other data card for that matter? And if you do, does it work under Linux? I've been looking for an netbook to put Ubuntu on or even one of the netbook Linux OS's like Easy Peasy. What are your suggestions? </p>
