Best Way to Put RTM (Remember the Milk) Tasks on the Desktop Background?

  1. I want to put one of my RTM lists onto my background wallpaper, or at least right above it. I had previously created a hacked-up way of doing this with a custom app and samurize, but I'm wondering if somebody's already created a Rainmeter config for this.

    I'm using Windows 7.

  2. If you are using Windows XP you can use Active Desktop to do it. Have you tried using one of the desktop gadgets for Windows 7? That works and some of them are customizable.

  3. @DiasenCrystal

I have tried most of those, but they really aren't what I'm looking for. They don't work quite the way I'd like - I just want it to be simply on the background in plain text, so it would be transparant background.

  4. Oh ok.

I don't know of any way to do that. Maybe somebody else does.

  6. You can use this desktop gadget, which is a client for RTM: http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=55ccf415-af76-4a33-bad6-5bdaa370b214

  7. I don't really understand what you are looking for, but I use Rainlendar for all my tasks in combination with Google Calendar.
