I decided that next month I'm going to buy myself a tablet. I'm not entirely sure how much money I will be able to spend on it, but it's very limited and tablets are pretty expensive over here. Since I'm going to use it mosty for designing, inking and maybe occasionally sketching, I don't really need anything fancy imo. So I came up with two possible choices:
1. Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch S A6
It seem to be a pretty nice device, the only thing I'm really concerned about is the size. I'm not sure if that 147mm*92mm workspace is enough.
2. Aiptek HyperPen 10000 U
Seemed to have the same specs as the Bamboo Fun, but pen report rate is better, and the size is bigger 254mm*158mm. But it needs battery for the pen. It has the same prize as the small Bamboo Fun.
I can't really decide which one to choose. I'm really not sure if A6 size is enough for me, though it might be. If i have a bit bigger budget I might be able to buy the medium size (A5), which should be enough. The Aiptek is cheap and has the same specs, but I don't know anyone, who has is, so I can't ask them, if it's any good.
So basically Aiptek vs. Wacom, any opinions?
